Initial Visits

We understand that each patient's orthodontic treatment is different, and we promise to give you the personal attention you deserve. The following is an explanation of your initial visits to our office as well as other visits if treatment is recommended.

We look forward to meeting you on your first visit to our office. Your first visit with us is complimentary and will consist of an examination, facial and oral photographs, panographic X-ray, and a discussion of potential treatment options.

Diagnostic Records

If treatment is recommended, a records appointment will then be scheduled to take further X-rays and impressions for mounted study models.

Once the diagnostic records are taken, you will then be scheduled for a consultation appointment. Our doctor will have evaluated your records in order to explain all aspects of your treatment in detail. At that time we will provide a complete clinical diagnosis regarding the nature of the problem, and a detailed treatment plan.

For our child and adolescent patients, the braces will be placed at the consultation appointment. For our adult patients, placement of braces will usually be scheduled at a different appointment following the consultation.

If treatment is not indicated at this time, the patient will be placed on a recall at no charge until treatment is recommended.
