Meet Dr. Brian Scott

Brian Scott, D.D.S., M.S.

DrBrian.pngIn 2010 Dr. Brian Scott assumed the practice of his father, Dr. Nile G. Scott, and continues the family tradition of providing his patients with exceptional orthodontic care. Highly educated and well trained, Dr. Brian attended the University of Southern Colorado for his undergraduate studies in biology and earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery degree, with honors, from The Creighton University School of Dentistry. He completed his specialty training in orthodontics and received a master’s degree from the Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry.

Additionally Dr. Brian completed an intensive two-year post graduate course at the Advanced Education in Orthodontics Institute. This course is considered to be the most advanced course of its type in the world, teaching the Roth-Williams philosophy of orthodontics.

Dr. Brian feels it is important to stay on the cutting-edge of orthodontics. Thus, he maintains memberships in many prestigious professional organizations to keep up-to-date on the latest techniques and technology. He is currently a member of the American Association of Orthodontists, Colorado Association of Orthodontists, Rocky Mountain Society of Orthodontists, American Dental Association, Southeastern Colorado Dental Association and the Southeastern Colorado Dental Study Club.

Dr. Brian and his wife, Anne, are both natives of Pueblo. Anne has a Bachelor of Science in Fine Arts and participates in many community art projects. They have two children, Dane and Rylan. In his leisure time, Dr. Brian enjoys fishing, hiking and spending time outdoors.

Honors for Dr. Brian include:

  • Alpha Sigma Nu – National Jesuit Honor Society
  • Omicron Kappa Upsilon – National Dental Honor Society
  • Participant in the Institute for Latin American Concern (ILAC) for seven weeks providing missionary dental care to residents of the Dominican Republic.
  • Voted Pueblo's Top Orthodontist, by his peers, in Denver’s 5280 Magazine since 2013.
